Moussa Dembele turned to twitter to celebrate his double against England and salute Conor, not Callum, McGregor!

Any thoughts that the striker may be getting itchy feet and angling for a transfer can be discounted as the French striker embraces Celtic culture in full.

McGregor claimed the Ultimate Fighting Championship 205 title in Madison Square Garden on Saturday night and is rightly known as the world’s most famous fighter with his exploits in the ring surpassing his antics outside.

The Irishman has almost three million twitter followers with the in form Celtic striker tweeting his support for McGregor.

On the park last night Dembele showed just why he is one of the most exciting talents in the game as France ended the 15 match unbeaten run of the England u-21 side.

England took the lead in the ninth minute through Duncan Whatmore but ten minutes later the French were back on level terms when Dembele fired an unstoppable shot into the net from 15 yards out.

Twenty minutes into the second half Dembele clipped in a great free kick and although Lewis Baker equalised in the 81st minute the French weren’t to be denied with Wylan Cyprien scoring the winner with a brilliant free kick.
