Celtic’s Betfred Cup winning stars turned to twitter to celebrate their Hampden success and salute the fans that roared their side on to glory.
It was a real team effort at Hampden as Brendan Rodgers picked up his first trophy in management and presented Celtic with the 100th trophy in their history.
Talk of a Hampden hoodoo was quickly dispelled when Tom Rogic opened the scoring in the 15th minute gliding a great curling shot into the net from 20 yards out.

xxxCeltic were threatening at every opportunity with the hoops going further ahead in the 36th minute when James Forrest drove at the panick stricken Aberdeen defence then shot low and accurately into the net from the same distance as Rogic.
Aberdeen threatened briefly at the start of the second half but were given no encouragement by the Celtic defence.
When Stuart Armstrong was sent crashing to bthe deck just past the hour mark it was game over as Moussa Dembele slotted the penalty home to kick off the celebrations that will last long into the night as thousands of glasses are raised to the 100th triumph.
