John Hartson was on duty with BT Sport yesterday but it didn’t stop him marvelling at the Celtic support.

The former hoops striker enjoyed a great relationship with the Celtic support who related to his endeavour and will to win on the pitch.

In his new media role, Hartson shows the same passion as he demonstrated on the pitch as a player and enjoyed his old side’s display yesterday at Hampden to the max.

The ease with which Celtic were able to take care of their closest challengers seemed to come as a bit of a shock to the Welshman.

Three wins over Aberdeen before the end of November sends out an ominous warning to the rest of the clubs with all the signs being that Brendan Rodgers side are only going to get stronger.

With the Hampden hoodoo over, Rodgers collecting his first trophy as a manager and further spending to come in the January transfer window it looks like it will take something special to deny the Celtic support an end of season trip to Hampden for the final of the Scottish Cup.
