Moussa Dembele wasn’t too disappointed at failing to score against Inverness Caley Thistle.

After scoring on the road at Hampden, Dingwall and Monchengladbach the former Fulham striker drew a blank as the hoops won 3-0 to maintain the pace at the top of the table.

As he prepares for the international break Dembele can look back on 16 goals so far in his Celtic career with the next batch of fixtures offering the chance of silverware in the shape of the Betfred Cup

For once Dembele had to take a back-seat as Scott Sinclair, Leigh Griffiths and Tom Rogic found the score-sheet to restore Celtic’s ten point lead over Aberdeen.

Brendan Rodgers made four changes to the side that drew with Borussia Monchengladbach with the main change being the omission of Emilio Izaguirre to switch over to a 3-5-2 system.

Izaguirre was on the park after 12 minutes when Mikael Lustig went off injured with the hoops having to wait until three minutes into the second half for Sinclair to make the breakthrough.
