Scott Sinclair believes that Moussa Dembele could go all the way to Real Madrid.
On Monday night the young Celtic striker added to his glowing reputation by scoring twice for the French u21 side in their 3-2 win over England.
Since moving to Celtic in the summer Dembele has taken his game to a new level with goals in the Champions League being noted across Europe.
By snubbing interest in England to move to Celtic Dembele has demonstrated that developing his career is more important than cashing in on the first big money offer that comes his way.
Sinclair has watched his team-mate develop at close quarters and feels that Dembele could go all the way to the Bernabeu.
“Moussa has a bright future, doing as well as he is at that age, he’s obviously going to be linked with all the big European clubs like Real Madrid,” the former Aston Villa man stated.
“That’s only natural because he’s young, but he’s also doing it on the biggest stage as well.
“He’s proved he’s a great player. He’s made a fabulous start, he’s scoring goals and I hope he can keep that going.
“He has the proper attitude too. There were a few games when he was left on the bench and every player wants to be on the field but he kept working hard, waited for the opportunity and, in the end, he got it.
“I hope he stays here for a lot longer. He’s only 20, so for him it’s all about development.
“All he can do is keep playing well and scoring. He’s scoring big goals in big games and that’s what you want to be doing as a striker.”
After being in the international spotlight Dembele returns to domestic matters on Friday night when Celtic face Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
A win for Brendan Rodgers side would put them 14 points ahead of Aberdeen with Dembele and Sinclair looking to win the first medals of their career next Sunday when Celtic face the Dons in the final of the Betfred Cup at Hampden.
