Moussa Dembele gave Premier League clubs another lesson in what they missed out on when he scored twice tonight for the French u-21 side in their 3-2 win against their English counterparts.

The young Celtic striker scored twice against Manchester City in the Champions League and was on target again tonight against the elite academy products of the self declared greatest league in the world.

Dembele turned 20 in July and made his u-21 breakthrough earlier this season on the back of his move to Celtic.

Duncan Whatmore of Sunderland opened the scoring tonight for England before a double from the Celtic striker turned the match around.

After starring against Borussia Monchengladbach Dembele had no trouble holding off the English defence before slamming a 15 yard drive high past the England keeper.

In the second half Dembele demonstrated his versatility by pinging in a 20 yard free kick although England did hit back with a free kick from Chelsea’s Lew Baker but the French weren’t to be denied with Wylan Cyprien scoring a late winner.
