Frank McParand is the latest Ibrox star wanted in England.
Over the weekend Clint Hill was reported as a QPR target while Mark Warburton claimed after the win over Hamilton that he feared bids coming in next month for all of his players!
Recruitment specialist McParland is apparently wanted by Birmingham City in a Director of Football capacity but likely to remain at Ibrox according to a report in the Daily Record.
Mark Warburton brought McParland to Ibrox from Burnley late in 2015 to head up the club’s scouting and recruitment network.
The ‘star-finder’ has been credited with bringing in Philippe Senderos, Joey Barton, Nico Kranjcar and other wage drainers with chairman Dave King highly critical of the summer signings at the club’s recent AGM.
Warbo is unlikely to be signing any new players until he brings European football to Ibrox which could leave McParland with little to do for some time.
Before linking up with Warbo at Brentford McParland was the Academy Director at Liverpool for four years.
