Chris Sutton has taunted Stephen Craigan by retweeting last Friday’s argument over Ian Cathro’s appointment at Hearts.

BT Sport viewers looked on in amazement as the discussion got heated between the two pundits.

Sutton’s approval of the new Tynecastle boss seemed to upset Craigan who turned round to face up with his fellow pundit.

Alan Stubbs and presenter Darrell Currie sat back as Sutton and Craigan went almost went head-to-head.

The argument came in the Scottish Football Extra programme before the Partick Thistle v Celtic match at Firhill.

While Sky Sports appear to be cutting back on their coverage of the Scottish game BT aren’t afraid to expand with Sutton’s in-yer-face attitude the big talking point.

The former Celtic striker seems keen to get on the front foot with every issue, during the game he claimed that Craig Gordon should have been sent off for a foul on Thistle striker Ade Azeez which resulted in a yellow card for Azeez.

Tomorrow night there will be similar stirring debate ahead of coverage of the Hamilton v Sevco match.
