Fresh fears about the safety of Ibrox Stadium have been raised by the John James website.

Despite a series of claims about the conditions of the stands at Ibrox the club have refused to respond to allegations that spectator safety has been compromised.

Last week Phil MacGiollabhain claimed that company staff were concerned about correspondence with the Safety Advisory Group.

Among the concerns was the claim that netting was to be fitted under the roof of three stands to prevent any loose fittings falling onto supporters.

The John James site makes much more detailed technical allegations about the conditions of the stands and claims that the safety concerns are being kept under close guard.

The most serious claims are in relation to a safety report produced by Woolgar Hunter which it is claimed is under lock and key.

There are also allegations about the extent of correspondence between the club, Glasgow City Council and the safety authorities.

Celtic are due to play at Ibrox on December 31 with tickets costing £49.
