Rogic blow for Celtic

Tom Rogic will miss Saturday’s trip to Ibrox to face Sevco.

The midfielder has missed the last three games through injury and won’t be risked in Saturday’s derby match.

Rogic picked up a nasty looking ankle injury just before half time in the 2-1 win over Dundee and hasn’t played since.

The loss of the Australian is a big blow for Brendan Rodgers but the hoops boss has a number of options to fill that role.

Ryan Christie played in the advanced midfield role in tonight’s 2-0 win over Ross County but is unlikely to start at Ibrox.

Patrick Roberts or Stuart Armstrong are contenders to play in that position, Roberts would be a straight replacement for the Australian while Armstrong could push forward with Nir Bitton or Callum McGregor going in to partner Scott Brown in midfield.

Celtic go to Ibrox 16 points ahead of Sevco who drew 1-1 away to St Johnstone while goals from Erik Sviatchenko and Armstrong gave Celtic full points at home to Ross County.
