Chris Sutton hit Joey Barton with the ultimate put down tonight.
In a head to head with Stephen Craigan before the Partick Thistle match the two pundits raced through the topical events of the week.
The controversy over Celtic’s warm up at Fir Park was covered quickly followed by Mark Warburton crediting media pundits for Sevco’s win over Aberdeen.
After that it was onto Barton and the latest squealing from the former Burnley legend.
Speaking on 5Live about his time at Ibrox Barton claimed that the media had built him up to be a cross between Messi and Neymar.
Sutton struggled to keep a straight face at that suggestion before coming out with the line of the night.
“He’s not even a poor man’s Terry Hurlock,” and with that the feature ended.
Turning to another favourite topic, shortly afterwards Sutton suggested that referee Craig Thomson should take a long holiday- but not to Turkey.
