There is definitely something in the air today but I’ve not heard about a Delusion Warning coming from the Met Office.
This morning we had Kris Boyd telling Sky Sports News that despite the 5-1 scoreline in September when Celtic hammered Sevco that there really wasn’t much in the game.
Following that up would take a bit of effort but Lee Hodson has made a bold attempt later today while trying to sell tickets for the match with Inverness Caley Thistle on Boxing Day.
A year ago the Hodgy was trying to get a game for MK Dons as they were relegated from The Championship before moving north to Ibrox.
After a couple of months watching James Tavernier and Lee Wallace he’s managed to work his way into Mark Warburton’s side.
With five months experience of Scottish football the Daily Record have quoted Hodgy saying: “We have a big squad and everyone is fighting for their place.
“I knew it would be difficult coming here with two top-quality full-backs – the two best in the league – but that’s what it is about coming to a new club.”
It’s interesting that the former MK Dons man refers to a new club, perhaps there is some hope for him, hopefully Mikael Lustig, Cristian Gamboa, Kieran Tierney and Emilio Izaguirre have stopped laughing in time to report for training tomorrow.
