The mad mad world of Kris Boyd

Kris Boyd believes that there wasn’t much between the two teams when Celtic smashed Sevco 5-1 earlier this season!

Encouraged by his newspaper column in The Sun the Kilmarnock striker has launched a media career that has brought him to the attention of Sky Sports and BT Sport where he is a regular pundit.

In The Sun Boyd, who scored more SPL goals than Henrik Larsson, recently claimed that the Scotland international team were suffering due to the ‘relegation’ of Rangers to the bottom tier of Scottish football.

If Boyd had cared to do a little research around Tynecastle he’ll realise that when fans are interested they can raise enough money to avoid liquidation. Rangers fans failed their club not Scottish football.

Today on Sky Boydy was giving his thoughts on the next Glasgow derby when he came up with this topper!

“The last one, 5-1, Rangers had a chance at 2-1 through Barrie McKay, he cut inside and he put it wide of the post.

“Celtic went up the pitch and scored and Rangers had Senderos sent off from there, so there wasn’t much in that game despite the result making it look a lot worse. Rangers will fancy their chances, there’s no doubt about it and with home advantage as well.”

Perhaps Boydy may fancy investing some of his £500,000 EBT loan with the bookies if he fancies the tribute act to halt Celtic’s march to the SPFL title.
