Chris Sutton loves a Glasgow derby- and can’t stop reminding folk of how close the club from Ibrox are to Partick Thistle.
The former Celtic striker was far from the action at Ibrox today but knew the significance and importance of Celtic’s win.
After sharing a gantry with the deluded Kris Boyd telling him how close the two teams are Sutton applied a little reality to the league table tonight.
.@btsportfootball great game! Credit to Rangers they made a game of it?? But closer to Thistle that’s the reality?? Scottish Football on up????

With a 19 point advantage over the tribute act Celtic can look forward to their sixth title and plan for next season’s Champions League qualifiers.
Brendan Rodgers will spend money in January while Mark Warburton looks over his shoulder at the challenge from Aberdeen who won’t be looking for crisis loans in March.
With the winter break kicking in the pressure is slightly off Warbo but to anyone that is listening Sutton has some home truths that don’t go down well in Ibrox.
