Nir Bitton could be on his way out of Celtic just as Kouassi Eboue signs up.

According to a report in The Sun, Fulham have expressed an interest in the Israeli who has fallen out of favour under Brendan Rodgers.

Since being replaced by Stuart Armstrong in the League Cup semi-final win over Sevco Bitton has dropped out of favour with the former Dundee United man in outstanding form.

Bitton started the season on the bench with Rodgers preferring Callum McGregor as Scott Brown’s partner but the Israeli managed to work his way into the side.

Armstrong’s emergence over the last two months has seen Bitton drop out with the ex Dundee United man adding a level of aggression and goals that the former Ashdod man couldn’t match.

With Eboue set to challenge for a defensive midfield role Bitton’s first team prospects look bleak increasing the appeal of a move to Fulham who signed Stefan Johansen earlier this season.
