Moussa Dembele has tweeted a picture of him celebrating his goal at Ibrox along with the message ‘What Else’- killing off speculation that he was on his way to Chelsea.

Late yesterday afternoon Sky Sports were informed that the English side were interested in the Celtic striker kicking off 24 hours of rumours.

Pictures of Dembele on a plane to London this morning added fuel to those rumours although it was later claimed that the flight was to get a scan on his injured knee.

As the day progressed the prospect of a £40m transfer slipped away with the suspicion being that the story was released because Chelsea hadn’t got their way over Craig Gordon.

With Dembele and Gordon staying put it has been a quiet day at Lennoxtown with only a couple of loan deals progressing.

Jamie McCart has moved to Inverness Caley Thistle, Aiden McIlduff is off to Queens Park and Broque Watson joining Lowland League side Cumbernauld Colts.
