German newspaper Morgen Post have reported that three football fans were detained and questioned by police following trouble on a flight from Edinburgh to Berlin.

According to their website: ‘The police now investigate three passengers for insult and coercion on a sexual basis.’

This incident on an Easyjet flight seems to be the most serious so far after Sevco decided on arranging a questionable friendly away to RB Leipzig.

With anti-social and sectarian behaviour on the increase exporting their problem shortly after the Brexit vote doesn’t seem to be the smartest of ideas.

Throughout the weekend social media has been flooded with videos of fans transferring their hatred from the UK to Germany.

Various airports had to put up with anti-social behaviour with numerous instances of anti-catholic hate songs being chanted in public.

Around 8,000 fans were expected in Leipzig for this afternoon’s match with many of those fans spending the weekend in Berlin which is around two hours from Leipzig

Shortly before kick off one visiting fan required extensive treatment by German medics after falling 20 feet when an attempted handstand went wrong.
