Three days after bringing life to the fifth round draw for the Scottish Cup Rod Stewart was back watching his beloved hoops- from The Parlour New York.

Alongside SFA President Alan McRae and former Celt Alan Stubbs the legendary singer showed how to make selecting eight balls from a bag compelling viewing.

Rather than the usual straight faced routine Stewart’s exaggerated arm movements and picking of the numbered balls made the cup draw go viral.

Within 24 hours of making the draw it had been viewed 100,000 times on the You Tube channel for the Scottish Cup with thousands more unofficial short clips being shared.

Stewart is no fair weather Celtic fan and makes a point of getting to as many matches as possible as well as checking out where he can watch his team while on tour.

The Parlour plays host to many famous names looking to keep upto date with the hoops while enjoying a break in the big apple with Stewart just the latest Celtic celeb to drop in.
