Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he’d be happy to go into the remainder of the season with the squad that he has now assembled.

The hoops boss has brought in Kouassi Eboue from Krasnodar and is exploring another couple of options.

With a 19 point lead at the top of the SPFL the Scottish Cup will be the biggest challenge on the pitch with the league title likely to be decided in March.

Preparing his squad for three qualifying rounds of the Champions League is the priority with the Celtic boss prepared to wait until the summer transfer window to draft in the players that he requires.

Eboue received his visa to work in the UK today but that arrived too late to be available for Sunday’s match with Albion Rovers.

Kieran Tierney could be in contention for a run at some stage but Tom Rogic hasn’t fully recovered from the ankle injury he suffered before Christmas.
