Rather than look inside the ‘big hoos’ to see what the problems are it seems more convenient for Ibrox fans to blame anyone else.

The tax problems, administration and liquidation in 2012 wasn’t down to the business practises of Dave Murray and Craig Whyte- it was caused by a plot hatched by Peter Lawwell, the SFA, SPL, Glasgow City Council and the Co-Op Bank as part of a massive sectarian plan also involving Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.

In a similar way trailing Celtic by 19 points really should lead to serious questions about the competence of Dave King and Mark Warburton. A six point gap with Celtic may be acceptable but a 13 point deficit in games against the other 10 clubs is harder to justify with that gap jumping to 16 points if Celtic overcome St Johnstone later this month.

Rather than look at the in-house failures such as the lack of investment and questionable value of almost all summer signings it seems that the woes of the club from Ibrox are all down to Chris Sutton.

For two years Sutton told Celtic fans of the failings of Ronny Deila, that view split the Celtic support in half but the issue was always Deila and not Sutton!

Yesterday Sutton was under fire for stating the obvious and used his twitter account in a bid to reason with the people, a generation of entitlement who have no concept of sporting value and earning success by being better than your opponents.
