West Ham’s controversial website column by ‘The Insider’ is set to be axed.

On Thursday, using the club’s official website, The Insider gave away every detail pointing towards a bid for Moussa Dembele.

Whether it was ‘an honest mistake’ or an attempt to test the water to see Celtic’s reaction isn’t clear but it seems that The Insider is on it’s way out.

Since the article appeared West Ham have been on the defensive with no official bid coming in for the Celtic striker.

West Ham have been having a nightmare time in the transfer market with bids for Jermain Defoe and Robert Snodgrass being turned down.

Tonight in front of a live TV audience they were dumped out of the FA Cup with Manchester City winning 5-0 at the London Stadium.

Dembele flew into Dubai today with his Celtic team-mates with nothing in mind beyond helping the hoops to more trophies in the second half of the season.
