Brendan Rodgers has issued an ominous warning to the rest of Scottish football- Celtic are only going to get better.
Against Inverness Caley Thistle today Celtic won 6-0 with both full-backs scoring, Moussa Dembele grabbing a hat-trick and Scott Brown also on target.
With one game a week being played Rodgers is getting extra time on the training ground with the results obvious on the park where Celtic have scored 11 goals scored in the last two matches.
Today’s match was another thrilling example of attacking football against the often brutal approach of Inverness Caley Thistle.

A brilliant run into the penalty box by Mikael Lustig was met with a brilliant pass from Nir Bitton with the full-back controlling the ball and sliding a shot into the net to open the scoring.
That goal set the tone for the day with Dembele scoring his second hatrick in a week, Kieran Tierney scoring with a header then a late spectacular strike to confirm Celtic’s place in tomorrow’s quarter final draw from Ibrox.
The quarter final ties will be played on March 4, the weekend before Sevco visit Celtic Park.
