Brendan Rodgers isn’t worried that Craig Gordon has still to sign a new Celtic contract.
The Scotland keeper was the subject of two bids from Chelsea during the January transfer window but Celtic refused to consider a transfer.
Gordon’s current deal runs until next summer but Rodgers has suggested that a new deal through to 2020 should be put to the keeper.
With Chelsea declining to follow up other goalkeeper options they could come back in for the Celtic keeper in the summer.
Earlier this week a story claimed that talks with Gordon’s agents had been put on hold but Rodgers is happy that talks are progressing at the right pace.

Gordon was dropped for Dorus de Vries earlier in the season but won his place back after a month on the sidelines.
With Rodgers’ emphasis on a passing game Gordon has worked on his passing and earned the praise of his manager.
