Kouassi Eboue is making his Celtic debut today- in the SFA Youth Cup away to Hibs!

At £2.8m the former Krasnodar midfielder is possibly the most expensive player to have graced the tournament as Tommy McIntyre’s side bid to make it into the last four of the competition.

Eboue was Brendan Rodgers only signing during the January transfer window but suffered a malaria scare that delayed his debut.

After two weeks solid training he is in the Celtic side today teaming up with Mark Hill in central midfield.

It looks like being a tough test for McIntyre’s side with Hibs sitting at the top of the Development League table.

The Development League allows clubs to play four overage outfield players plus a goalkeeper but today’s match is strictly for u-20 players.

The match is being played at the Orian Training Academy.

CELTIC: Hazard; Ralston, Wardrop, Kerr, McIlduff; Hill, Kouassi; Archibald, Thomson, Miller; Aitchison
