Celtic can win the title off their own efforts by beating Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday.

The trophy could have been claimed tonight if Aberdeen had lost at Dundee but Derek McInnes’ side made no mistake crushing Dundee 7-0.

It was an emphatic show of strength by the Dons who were watched by Brother Pedro who was adding to his already incredible knowledge of Scottish football.

The points were all wrapped up before the interval thanks to a double from Andrew Considine either side of goals from Adam Rooney and Kenny McLean.

Six minutes into the second half Ryan Jack scored the fifth goal with Niall McGinn scoring the sixth from close range in the 73rd minute. Seven minutes from the final whistle Considine completed his hat-trick.

The win cuts Celtic’s lead down to 22 points but a win over Hearts will put the hoops 25 ahead with eight games left to play.

Aberdeen are now 11 points ahead of Sevco and are 24 goals better off than Brother Pedro’s side in the race for second.
