Scotland midfielder Barry Bannan has watched plenty of Celtic stars down the years.
These days at Sheffield Wednesday he doesn’t need to look to far for reminders of the hoops with Glenn Loovern, Ross Wallace and Gary Hooper as Hillsborough team-mates. If that’s not enough annual transfer targets Steven Fletcher and Jordan Rhodes are also on the payroll.
Like most Celtic fans Bannan has been swept away by the form of Moussa Dembele with the striker crashing through the 30 mark with a double last night at Inverness Caley Thistle.
This moussa dembele for Celtic is unreal what a player ????????????

After a dozen reminders of how Celtic had drawn on their previous visit to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium Dembele took matters into his own hands last night- scoring the killer second goal 11 seconds into the second half.
With Stuart Armstrong netting a spectacular third Dembele completed the scoring with the goal that is the hallmark of all real strikers- a confident shot past the keeper after racing in one-on-one.
Bannan played against Dembele last season but nothing beats watching someone on top of their form performing every match in a green and white shirt.
