John Brown has joined the shortlist of RRM to help out Brother Pedro.
According to a report in The Sun the legendary hardman could soon be back in a trackie in the dug out alongside the new Mourinho.
Bomber, as he is affectionately known is the ultimate in RRM with his performance on the doorstep of the stadium in the summer of 2012 impossible to beat.
Brown spoke out about the Charles Green regime and quit his job as chief scout while Ally McCoist and Walter Smith climbed on board with the Yorkshire based businessman.
In 2013 Brown had a spell in managing Dundee but returned to Ibrox as an ambassador once Dave King took control of the boardroom.
Barry Ferguson and Kenny Miller are also in contention but it’s the thought of Bomber back on the touchline that will help shift season tickets regardless of the state of the first team squad.
Ferguson has his backers inside the club but with King jetting in this week it’s likely that Bomber will be given the go-ahead to work alongside Brother Pedro.
