There’s little doubt that preparing to face Celtic mist be a nightmare for most SPFL managers.
Moussa Dembele is the obvious threat, if he can be kept quiet there;s three back up attackers, including Scott Sinclair to contend with. If they fail to strike gold Rodgers can look along the bench and throw on a sub like Patrick Roberts or Leigh Griffiths.
So far this season Celtic have beaten Sevco three times, according to the stats the 5-1 game at the start of the season was actually the closest contest between the two clubs!
At Hampden in the Betfred Cup semi-final it was one way traffic towards Matt Gilks but it took the introduction of Griffiths and Stuart Armstrong to force a late goal out of Dembele.
In December Sevco dominated for 20 minutes before Celtic got serious, moved up a gear and somehow only managed to win 2-1.
That win was at the end of a demanding run of nine matches in a month, the good news for Sunday is that the hoops have had a much lighter schedule over the last few weeks and will be going out with all guns blazing for glory.
