The Record claims: “Record Sport understands Rangers MD Stewart Robertson and sidekick Andrew Dickson yesterday arrived at the players’ Auchenhowie HQ after training to bring them up to speed with their ongoing search for a new boss as well as a director of football.
“And they confirmed top target Caixinha finally looks set to arrive in Glasgow ahead of Sunday’s Old Firm showdown with stand-in boss Graeme Murty also being told he’ll almost certainly still be calling the shots from the dugout at Celtic Park.”
The chase for Caixinha has neatly distracted attention away from the prospect of Sevco’s title bid ending on Sunday with a home win creating a 36 point gap between the two title contenders with just 10 games left to play.
In three SPFL matches in charge Murty has a record of one win and two defeats- even worse than Warbo.
