John Hartson believes that Celtic are poised to dominate Scottish football for ten MORE years.

While the circus at Ibrox is on the brink of collapse across the city they have the perfect business model.

Success on the park is being delivered through dignity in the boardroom, a quality team of executives heading up every department within the company and the backing of a large supportive fan base.

With income coming from European football, transfer deals and commercial contracts the club is powering forward with investment plans to create an indoor training facility and Lennoxtown and a hotel to compliment and support the success on the park.

Hartson left Celtic a decade ago and is in little down about what the holds for his old club.

It’s up to Celtic how long they dominate Scottish football for,” he predicts in The Sun. “They are on five in a row right now. Where does that stop?

Personally, I don’t see anyone getting close for at least a DECADE because the club is being so well run these days.

Celtic had just banked £30million from the Champions League and they have players like Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney, who are worth fortunes.

They don’t need to sell any time soon, but when the day comes, they are going to get big money for them.

If they qualify for the Champions League group stages next season, they are only going to get their hands on even more cash.

They are miles ahead in Scotland, but the club is run properly. They work to a budget and they have been sensible.

Operating like that has enabled them to be in a position where they can invest money in improving facilities.

Celtic are in a strong place and things like the air-dome and the plans for a hotel at Celtic Park shows that.

It’s a case of improving for the future. There is a clear focus and a plan at the club now.

Money could sit in the bank, but the Celtic board are clearly committed to improving the infrastructure as they try to move the club forward.”

On the park with 11 matches left to play Celtic are seven points away from clinching their sixth title.

Brendan Rodgers side are 27 points ahead of second placed Aberdeen and 33 ahead of Sevco despite the bluster of their pre-season #goingfor55 campaign.
