Among the many decisions that Bobby Madden got badly wrong today was one that especially incensed Celtic fans in the North Stand.

Early in the first half having been given the benefit of some very dubious decisions by Bobby Madden Kenny Miller tried his luck with a challenge that would be a straight red card in almost any country.

Deep inside the Celtic half, close to the touchline the former Vancouver Whitecaps goal-ace launched an incredible two footed lunge at Stuart Armstrong.

Fortunately the midfielder anticipated the action and got his legs out of the way of a potentially career ending injury.

Incredible Madden made do with a quick word with the 37-year-old, there was no yellow or red card.

Throughout the entire match Madden allowed the visitors away with regular dangerous challenges.

Once Danny Wilson and Clint Hill had been booked they were able to hold and push Moussa Dembele at every turn without any punishment.

Sitting on a yellow card Hill raced off the park to celebrate with the away supporters- no yellow card was issued.

In the first game of the season Scott Sinclair was booked for celebrating with the Celtic fans at Tynecastle with James Forrest cautioned for a similar incident three weeks later at St Johnstone.
