King finally arrives

A distressed and dishevelled Dave King arrived at Ibrox late this afternoon.

With three weeks left to fund a takeover and find a NOMAD prepared to risk their reputation things are looking grim for the South African based criminal who arrived without a blazer, tie or brown brogues.

Claims that he’ll be discussing his war-chest and over-investment with Brother Pedro can safely be dismissed.

Just over two years ago King stood on the steps of the stadium with his arms raised alongside blazer chasers Paul Murray and John Gilligan. Neither was at Glasgow Airport today to welcome the company chairman.

King’s visits this season have become increasingly rare with most of his plans heading in the same direction as #goingfor55 campaign.

Having ducked and dived his way through the last 24 months time is now running out for the South African based criminal who has failed to deliver on any of the promises made when he was swept to power promising transparency and accountability.

King has still to invest a penny into the club with his regime propped up by soft loans from three soft bears.

With no sign of the company breaking even, no sign of a share offer, Celtic on the brink of six-in-a-row and the Takeover Panel ruling requiring extra finance and a NOMAD it seems likely that today will be King’s last visit to Ibrox as a company director.
