Barry Ferguson is set to become Brother Pedro’s number three.
After initially highlighting the prospects of John Brown for the job The Sun believes that wee Barry will be given the job this week.
Brother Pedro has been handed a list of RRM with the former Clyde boss the man favoured by the boardroom to keep them upto date about what is happening behind the scenes.
Ferguson recently resigned as manager of Clyde where his record of 46 wins from 120 games in charge left the club within touching distance of demotion to the Lowland League.
That record hasn’t proven a barrier to the man who collected £2.5m in ‘tax free’ EBT payments from the old club.
Since leaving Clyde, Fergie has been a regular on Radio Scotland and the Daily Record and can keep them both upto date with inside information despite officially stepping down from his media work.
Ferguson’s Daily Record column has been a regular source of humour recently including a revelation about his anger levels in a supermarket.
