Celtic have been given their first post-split fixture- away to Sevco on Saturday April 29- six days after the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

While the remaining fixtures are still to be released- and even the identity of the sixth placed team- the SPFL have confirmed details of the final Glasgow derby giving the Ibrox club the chance to cash in on the Brother Pedro factor.

Coming just six days after the Hampden clash it gives Brendan Rodgers the possibility of planning a decent break for some of his key players.

If Celtic win the semi-final he can give players like Scott Brown a week or two off after the Ibrox clash but still have them back fit and well for the Scottish Cup Final on May 27.

Should Celtic lose the semi-final time off can be given to key players after the Ibrox match with the next meaningful match coming on July 11/12 when Celtic enter the Champions League qualifiers.

In the other fixtures Celtic should play Hearts and St Johnstone at home with away days at Aberdeen and the club finishing sixth.
