Birthday bhoy Chris Sutton turned 44 today with his twitter fans out in force.
Adrian Durham may dispute the age of the former Celtic striker but there was much love in the air as he switched on his twitter account.
Sutton’s straightforward analysis rubs up many of his fellow pundits/apologists the wrong way but there’s no doubt that it makes for great viewing, listening and reading.
Last year his appearance on Radio Clyde’s Super Scoreboard went down a treat as he delivered a few home truths to Derek Johnstone about his unwavering support to whatever regime is currently in charge at Ibrox.

While he certainly enjoys the praise of the Celtic support it shouldn’t be forgotten that less than a year ago Sutton was viewed rather differently.
His criticism of Ronny Deila wasn’t welcomed with some fans dismayed that he should be so brutal about the then Celtic boss.
History suggests that Sutton called that one correct as well.
