Chris Sutton didn’t duck the flack coming from Sevco fans as they celebrated the greatest result in their top flight history.

Inspired by an incredible display from Bobby Madden the tribute act managed to claim a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park as they kissed goodbye to their title hopes.

Had Bobby Madden awarded Celtic a late penalty when Clint Hill chopped down Leigh Griffiths as he prepared to shoot it could well have been another victory for the hoops.

Despite trailing Celtic by 33 points and being eight behind Aberdeen in the battle to be a strong second the result has been greeted with with euphoria by the Ibrox support.

Sutton like most pundits predicted a comfortable win for Celtic but most hoops fans were wary of the Madden factor as soon as he was announced as the match official.

From almost the first whistle strange decisions were made with Kenny Miller escaping an early red card for a dangerous two footed lunge at Stuart Armstrong.

Sutton took the glee from the gullible on the chin and reminded them of a few uncomfortable truths as they battle for second spot.
