Celtic fan videos from Tynecastle

Celtic’s title success was celebrated far and wide as supporters saluted the work of Brendan Rodgers and his side.

With just one of his signings in the side, Scott Sinclair, the hoops turned in an awesome performance that would have brought more than five goals if the match officials had a better grasp of the Laws of the Game.

For the privileged few inside Tynecastle the players joined in the singing, waving and huddle as they celebrated a title triumph back at the ground where their domestic season kicked off.

Around Scotland, across parts of England and Ireland and further afield in North America and other outposts supporters were keen to pay their respects for an incredible season that has delivered the title after 28 wins and two draws.

When he arrived as Celtic manager Rodgers knew the history- now he is creating it within an environment in which he is very comfortable.

After a short pause for reflection Rodgers is already planning for Partick Thistle on Wednesday night and beyond with beyond meaning the Champions League qualifiers and hopefully the group stage.

This isn’t the end, far from it, it’s barely the beginning.

Tynecastle huddle

It’s huddle time, the bhoys did a brief huddle after Scott Sinclair’s penalty but this was the real thing as they lapped up the acclaim of the support.

Twenty two years ago Tony Mowbray kicked off the huddle, since then the legend has grown with many of the club’s greatest players tuning in to the captain’s words of wisdom.

Only a select band have enjoyed a six-in-a-row huddle- now the countdown starts to a magnificent seven.

It’s wonderful

Lisbon Lion John Fallon links the generations as the champions of 2017 are celebrated in song.

Scott Sinclair will forever be associated with Tynecastle, it’s a nice double to score the winner off the bench on your debut alongside a hat-trick on the day that the title is clinched.

The former Aston Villa man was the only player in the starting XI that wasn’t at the club last season, here’s hoping that he is around for many more celebrations.

Party time

Again the players take a bow, lapping up the thanks of the away support who’ve been there every step of the way.
The players know that they are part of something special, wherever their careers take them there will always be reminders of how they lifted the title without defeat.

The next part of the journey is to round the season of by lifting the Scottish Cup- hopefully the season is completed unbeaten and another chapter completed.

He has come to lead the green and white

He didn’t slip into a celebration t-shirt but there was no doubt who the star of the show was in Celtic’s title success.

The day that he arrived 13,000 turned out at Celtic Park, they wanted a manager they could believe in, one who could lead.

The Irishman has did that and much more. He knows how to handle players and get the best out of them but he is also utterly ruthless, everything is geared to the team with no distractions.

The Gallowgate

The area of Glasgow city centre closest to Celtic Park is where you will always find Celtic fans.

Irish bars and Celtic bars sit side by side with the hoops spilling out shortly after the final whistle blew at Tynecastle.

The celebrations continued late into the night but it’s not every day that you watch your side win their sixth consecutive title.

The Sons of Donegal

Over on the southside of Glasgow around Victoria Road and Queens Park you will find plenty of Celtic supporters, it’s where Billy McNeill used to run his pub.

For generations it’s been an area to feel comfortable in with the aptly named supporters club spelling out where the club is rooted.

Good-natured huddles were all around the west of Scotland, some areas more than others, as the fans celebrated another landmark occasion.

New York, New York

The Parlour is the home of the New York CSC and an essential place to visit for Celtic fans in the big apple.

Most of the faces change from game to game but the atmosphere and passion is a piece of the Gallowgate transferred to the most famous city in the world.

What the locals and tourists made of the huddle is anyone’s guess but after watching your side win the league there is only one way to celebrate properly.

Philly Plough Bhoys

Along the east coast the Plough Bhoys of Philly were enjoying Celtic’s success every bit as much even if they were fewer in number.

In every major American city you’ll find a place where Celtic fans can call home, sit among your own and debate the topics of the day.

Some of the links may be a little strained but when the ball hits the net, when the hoops go in front, when the league is clinched it’s a special feeling wherever in the world you are.
