After last night’s 1-1 draw with Partick Thistle, Brendan Rodgers confirmed that his focus is on the April 23 semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

With two trophies collected to far the quest for the third will see Celtic take on Sevco for the fifth time this season, backed up by form of three wins and a draw.

Against Kilmarnock and Ross County, Rodgers will get the chance to put his plans in place to ensure a peak performance at Hampden against opponents who may well be out of contention for second place and looking over their shoulders at a battle for third spot.

Getting Tom Rogic upto full fitness will be a priority while the return from injury of Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths is essential.

Away to Hearts the hoops effectively played without a striker, or with four as some might suggest, but having Dembele and Griffiths available brings focus to the team, together they gave Celtic an extra edge in the Betfred Cup semi final in October.

In central defence and in midfield there are big decisions to be made with the Celtic boss having to decide whether he goes on form over the next two weeks or if he already has his team in mind simply ensure that they are all match fit.
