Griffiths leaves his mark

|

It’s almost becoming a tradition as Leigh Griffiths ties a green and white scarf to a post after another Celtic success.

The former Hibs striker suffered a back injury playing for Scotland against Slovenia and had to take a back seat from Celtic’s 5-0 title clincher at Tynecastle.

That didn’t prevent Griffiths from celebrating in full at the final whistle as the players took a bow in front of the visiting support.

As the last remaining Jambos filtered out the ground the decibel count increased as Brendan Rodgers took the acclaim of the support.

While the lucky fans inside the stadium celebrated wildly across Scotland and further afield the cheers were no less passionate as a fantastic campaign consisting of 28 wins and two draws was sealed in style.

Every title win is special and deserving of celebration, with Griffiths around there will always be something extra added as history is made by Rodgers side.
