On the eve of his Ibrox departure Dave King has promised Sevco fans that funds are available to help Pedro ‘shape his own team’.
The South African based criminal included the promise in an email sent out looking for fans to renew season tickets for next season.
Missing from the email was any comment about funding a takeover offer which must be made by tomorrow.
If King fails to offer shareholders 20p per share he faces the Cold Shoulder from the City of London with dire consequences for the Ibrox company if he refuses to step down.
Disregarding that ‘minor’ issue King pledged: “Despite a relatively disappointing campaign up to this point, we’ve taken the necessary steps to revitalise the team and its performance.
“Of particular note is the carefully researched appointment of a new management unit headed by Pedro Caixinha. Funds are available to help Pedro shape his own team.
“It is important that our supporters continue to see Rangers playing attractive football, but attractive football must not be pursued at the cost of failing to win.”
Sunday’s win at Aberdeen seems to have did the trick for the Ibrox support with Brother Pedro getting the magic hat treatment.
Despite that win Sevco trail Aberdeen by nine points with six matches left in the race for second place.
