Aside from the outrageous decision to award Ross County a penalty today it’s hard to justify Don Robertson’s red card for Scott Brown.
The Celtic skipper did commit a foul, he did striker Liam Boyce but in comparison to many of the decisions earlier in the match a booking would have been appropriate.
Having already benefited from a ridiculous penalty given for a dive by Alex Schalke the home players rushed in mob handed on Brown pushing others out of their way as Robertson reached for his red card.
Anyone see a pattern here ?

It seemed a remarkable decision from the referee who thought that Ryan Bowman’s knee high straight leg attack on Kieran Tierney in February was only worth a booking.
In the derby fixture against Sevco last month Patrick Roberts and Stuart Armstrong were on the receiving end of very dangerous tackles- Bobby Madden didn’t produce a card for either offence.
It’s only a matter of time before a Celtic player is badly injured, there’s a 50-50 chance that it’ll be for a member of Gordon Strachan’s international squad that suffers- maybe then something might get done to protect players.
