Chris Sutton has questioned Neil McCann’s commitment to managing Dundee.

The Sky Sports pundit was appointed as Paul Hartley’s successor last week and managed two days training before returning to television duties.

Rather than having his players in for an extra training session or check out potential play off opponents on Saturday McCann opted to give his views on the Aberdeen v Hibs Scottish Cup semi final.

Hartley was sacked after a disastrous run of seven straight defeats in the SPFL left Dundee in second bottom place in the table.

With five matches left to play, three away from home, McCann must get himself upto speed with what’s going on in the dug outs rather than sharing cosy comments with David Tanner.

This Saturday Dundee are away to Motherwell knowing that a defeat will leave them five points adrift of the Fir Park outfit with just four matches left to play.
