Chris Sutton gave one biting comment on the refereeing of Don Robertson today.
A number of dangerous challenges went relatively unpunished in the match between Ross County and Celtic until the closing minutes.
Robertson awarded a penalty for an embarrassing dive by Alex Schalk then red carded Scott Brown for a tackle similar to many that he’d let go earlier in the match.
.@btsportfootball Brown outstanding this season but that was daft…May prove costly! Standard of refereeing consistent all season….

Sutton started the season highly critical of Craig Thomson during a Dundee v Sevco match, the following week the same referee declined to co-operate with BT Sport and kicked off at St Johnstone v Celtic while the broadcaster was running a commercial break.
More recently John Beaton allowed Joey Garner to get off with just a booking for a waist high kick at Dougie Imrie while the Celtic v Sevco match was marred by a series of incredible decisions by Bobby Madden.
Next weekend the Celtic v Sevco Scottish Cup semi-final will be refereed by Willie Collum.
