Celtic on Instagram
There’s little doubt about the popularity of Instagram in the Celtic dressing room- it seems to be the must have social media account.
SPFL presentation day is the perfect occasion for the players to turn the camera on themselves and share those shots with the support at large.
From the Celtic Way pre-match through to the dressing room celebrations every moment was captured with the players having a unique vantage point on the pitch.
A year ago there were major doubts over the future of many of Ronny Deila’s squad but the majority have survived the handover and emerged with new improved contracts.
Without doubt the whole atmosphere around the club has been revolutionised by the arrival of Brendan Rodgers, best of all it’s obvious that things are only starting, there is much much more to come with the Irishman in control.
As ever Rodgers was that mix of laid back but powerful. There was no over the top gestures or celebrations but as he spoke over the PA after the match the sentiments were strong as he acknowledged everyone who had contributed towards the success he is enjoying in his dream job.

We thought that it was his farewell last season but he bounced back for more, barely putting a foot wrong during a two month stint standing in for Kieran Tierney.

Keepers are a bit different with the Celtic Park branch of the Goalkeepers Union alive and well. It’s been quite a season for our number one but with a new contract there should be plenty more celebrations ahead for the Scotland keeper.
