Jozo Simunovic’s tackle on Kenny Miller has been one of the hot topics on social media since Celtic’s 5-1 win over Sevco on Saturday.
Good old fashioned tackling is almost a lost art in the modern game but midway through the first half at Ibrox there was a flashback to a golden age when men were certainly men.
Simunovic’s challenge may have frightened Andy Walker but elsewhere it has been praised with analysis of the incident showing a perfectly timed and executed challenge for the ball.
Kenny Miller’s theatrics have already featured on a t-shirt with one hoops fan taking things further by contacting Glasgow Airport to enquire about the whereabouts of the former hoops striker.

No free kick was given for the challenge with Celtic breaking quickly and striking the woodwork through a Leigh Griffiths shot.
Simonovic’s performance certainly seems to have made a big impression with reports that clubs from Spain, Italy, Germany and England could be making bids for the defender when the summer transfer window opens.
