John Guidetti was a laughing stock on social media as his footballing ability again failed to live up to his hype as Celta Vigo were knocked out of the Europa League by Manchester United.
With the home side leading 2-1 on aggregate Old Trafford held it’s breath as the Swedish striker was presented with a chance eight yards from goal.
Legendary status awaited Guidetti but his legs were all in the wrong place as he failed to connect properly, the moment was missed and United started preparing for the final with Ajax in Sweden.

In that one incident the career of the Swedish striker was summed up almost exactly as Celtic fans remembered him.
A two month scoring run while on loan at Celtic in 2014 brought fears that unless a £5m transfer fee was dispatched in January he could bought by an English Premier League club.
By the time January arrived the goals had dried up, Leigh Griffiths had taken his place in the team and Guidetti was consoling himself thinking over the worldwide offers that were coming his way.
In 21 La Liga matches this season Guidetti has scored three goals.
