There's been quite a fall out since Celtic's 5-1 win over Sevco at Ibrox on Saturday. Alongside the delight at Celtic hitting five goals and the Brother Pedro experiment imploding at Ibrox there was also a wholly predictable outbreak of anti-social behaviour from the home fans. Sadly but again predictably there has been no response from the football authorities or from Sevco, it seems that keeping a gloss on the 'Old Firm experience' is more important with dealing with the low-life's who live in the dark shadow of one club. For Celtic fans the win at Ibrox completed a week of joy- two wins for the first team over the tribute act with much hilarity thrown in to add to the pleasures. The internet has been awash with humour with many Celtic fans still struggling to believe that they witnessed the ball hit the Sevco net five times. It could have been more, seven or eight would have been a fairer reflection but for those who lived through the nineties it was a momentous afternoon. WILLY N BILLY As they paid their money through the epic journey they had no idea it was going to end like this. After the joy of beating Montrose and Raith Rovers, cheering on Kevin Kyle and Jon Daly this was the day that they had waited for- to teach Celtic a lesson. Unfortunately this journey hasn't had a happy ending- trailing Celtic by 36 points after 34 games is hard to spin especially after selling season tickets around the #goingfor55 slogan. As Sky Sports flashed these two happy chappies onto the screens there wasn't a Celtic fan alive that didn't smile and cheer. WATCH OUT KENNY It was a moment of utter beauty, executed to perfection and a reminder to all that this Celtic bandwagon won't be going off the rails. A classic 50-50 there to be won. We're often told that the team that wants it most comes out on top in these fixtures, Kenny Miller came out second best. Jozo Simunovic times his tackle perfectly, he took the ball off Miller's toes with the veteran striker spinning into orbit looking for the sympathy vote. In years to come when this fixture is recalled fans will always add 'and what about that tackle fae big Jozo' MAD MENTOE MIKEY It was the icing on the tastiest cake, the slightly batty Swede scoring a wonder goal at Ibrox and racing off in a highly individualistic celebration. Lustig popped up well away from his usual right-back berth, dropped his shoulders to see off a few half hearted challenges then curled a perfect shot round the dive of Wesley Foderingham into the net. In front of the Celtic support he slipped his shirt over his head and raced off in a zombie like state to milk the celebrations to the max. He doesn't score often but when he does you're not likely to forget it. WE DON'T DO WALKING AWAY There are many acts of betrayal for a fan to go through but throwing your scarf away is a step too far for most- doing it as your company is getting hammered by a city rival is something else entirely. With their side trailing 4-0 and looking like losing more every time Celtic crossed the halfway line it just got too much for one bear to handle. Off it came, a knot tied in to give it some direction and the scarf was lobbed onto the pitch. There wasn't a steward or ball boy prepared to rescue the scarf which was picked up by the Sky Sports cameras and cheered by Celtic fans worldwide. PIP SENDEROS It looks like we'll never get the pleasure of seeing the former Arsenal and AC Milan defender again. After Joleon Lescott snubbed Warbo the big Swiss defender was summoned to Murray Park to help launch #goingfor55. Despite watching Senderos in training for two weeks Warbo presented him with a contract. Incredibly his only function seems to have been to make Clint Hill and Rob Kiernan look better than they actually are. After his season of misery it's likely that Pip will officially retire this summer.
