Sevco are looking for an incredible £2m for Barrie McKay and £400,000 for Martyn Waghorn despite both players being in the final year of their contracts!

Those incredible figures are contained in a report by award winning journalist Keith Jackson produced in the newspaper that Ibrox director Paul Murray praised for it’s brave journalism.

Sevco are hoping to shift eight stars this summer but are likely to be badly disappointed when they discover the lack of interest in the squad that Mark Warburton created.

According to the Record a price list for eight players has been circulated to clubs in England which is bound to infuriate Brother Pedro as he attempts to generate funds to bring in new players.

The idea of a price list being circulated shows how out of touch the Ibrox club has become with the experienced touch of a chief executive or Director of Football needed to handle sensitive information.

According to the report £1.8m striker Joey Garner is available at a much reduced rate, wonder kids Josh Windass and Matt Crooks are available for £150,000 each, James Tavernier will cost an incredible £1.25m.

At those sort of prices the list is anything but a fire sale.

Harry Forrester and Rob Kiernan are available on free transfers but with a contract until 2019 Forrester will require a healthy pay off to quit Ibrox.

The report ends with a claim that the club is making good progress with it’s signing targets.
