Chris Sutton kept an eye on Celtic’s Scottish Cup triumph from Wembley then caught up with Henrik Larsson.

Sixteen years ago the dynamic duo were helping Martin O’Neill’s side win the treble and seemed to get as much pleasure out of the 2017 success.

Sutton quickly realised the impact that Brendan Rodgers had had on his old club with the former Liverpool manager completing the domestic season unbeaten.

Two cup triumphs and a league season that involved 34 wins and 4 draws have had Celtic fans drooling over the turnaround in fortunes of their team.

At Hampden only one of Rodgers’ signings was in the side, Scott Sinclair, with the other players in the starting XI inherited when he took charge 12 months ago.

Stuart Armstrong, signed by Ronny Deila in February 2015 equalised in the first half with Tom Rogic, signed by Neil Lennon in January 2013 scoring the dramatic stoppage time winner.
