Once again social media has led the way as Celtic fans enjoyed and shared their teams treble winning success.
Twitter, facebook and Instagram were swamped by fans as Tom Rogic’s late goal kicked off scenes of celebration across the world.
Scottish Cup sponsors William Hill were keen to cash in on the action with a series of tweets that showed the goal highlights, trophy presentation and lap of honour.
In four visits to Hampden this season Brendan Rodgers’ side have banished recent demons with apparently every club in the SPFL able to enjoy memorable victories in Glasgow’s south side.
Twice in semi-finals Sevco have been outplayed, out classed and out thought at Hampden with two contrasting final wins over Aberdeen.
In November it was all very straightforward as the hoops cruised to a 3-0 win in the final of the Betfred Cup but yesterday there was much more tension and drama to the occasion.
The first half was far from vintage but fortunately Stuart Armstrong quickly equalised Jonny Hayes surprise opener.
Extra time looked inevitable but Tom Rogic got his co-ordination perfect with his winning goal sending social media into a frenzy.

Who could ever tire of watching these highlights.
Nightmare for Leigh Griffiths as he lets Jonny Hayes escape, brilliance from Stuart Armstrong and then history from Tom Rogic as he clinches the treble.

He’s certainly served his dues, over the last few seasons he’s picked up two runners-up medals then watched from the stand as his beloved Hibs ended a long long wait.
Griffiths had to wait a further 12 months but it was a sweet moment when he got his hands on a winners medal.

It’s the moment that they’ve worked all season for, after collecting their medals the players get together to to raise the trophy for the fans.
Between the final whistle and the mini lap of honour the players get together to do their stuff knowing that the 11 month season is over with memories and medals to take to the beach.

It’s a chant that’s not been heard for a while; ‘Give us a C, give us an E etc etc.
We can never put our name on this trophy too often, it’s sustained generations of Celtic fans, broke our hearts a couple of times but sent us into the summer on a high 37 times.

At a certain time in any presentation ceremony this old favourite can always be heard as the good and bad times are remembered, joys celebrated and always, always always hope in our hearts for the future.
